Roof Tilers
Roof tilers use roof tiles made from a wide range of materials including concrete, slate and terracotta to cover structures to form waterproof surfaces.
Roof tilers prepare a roof for tiling before they lay down the tiles to the roof that has been spread with adhesive. Roof tilers then apply any protective coats or other finishes that the roof tiles need.
It's important that roof tilers are fit, have good hand-eye coordination and balance as there is a lot of manual work and skill involved.
There are a variety of roof tiles that roof tilers can use. Popular ones include flat tiles that are laid in overlapping rows, as well as imbrex and tegula tiles, which form rain channels on a roof through their pattern of curved and flat shaped tiles.
